Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is a nonprofit, ecumenical housing ministry founded in 1976 by Linda and Millard Fuller to show the love of Christ in action by eliminating substandard housing and homelessness from the face of the earth. Believing that “everyone who gets sleepy at night deserves a simple, decent place to lay their head” has led HFH to build 300,000 houses around the world, providing decent shelter for more than 1,000,000 people. Using volunteer labor and as many donated materials as possible, we invite people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. SPC works with the local HFH affiliate.
