Julie comes to us from sunny, southern California. Her husband Tom, has been employed with Boeing for over 29 years and that is what brought Julie to the Charleston area, a little over 13 years ago.

She has extensive, executive level, office experience with many companies. Her longest position was with a large government agency in southern California. She worked at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church as a Membership and Missions Assistant and has worked for Summerville Presbyterian Church since October 2018. She also works part-time at the Charleston Atlantic Presbytery as their Director of Communications. 

She is a member of two professional organizations - The Administrative Personnel Association of the PCUSA where she serves as Membership Chair and the Charleston Atlantic Presbytery's Presbyterian Women's Coordinating Team, where she is Treasurer-in-training.

Julie has a degree in Public Administration and a Marketing degree as well, both from California State University Fullerton, California.

She enjoys a wide variety of hobbies which include--jewelry making, coloring, trivia nights, bingo and other game groups, planning excursions and traveling.  Most of all she loves spending time with family/friends and living in the low country with her husband and two cats Chloe and Kobe.

She is outgoing, friendly and willing to help our congregation in any way.
