• Children’s ministry is very important to SPC. We want all children to experience the love of God and to learn about Jesus through Bible study, fellowship, service, and fun!

     

    Sunday School

    Infants-Preschool (age 4) - Our preschoolers hear Bible stories, watch videos, make crafts, and enjoy free play in our age appropriate areas supervised by two staff members. Parents are asked to sign in their children and receive a buzzer so they can be notified if any issues arise.

    K-5th Grade - During the calendar school year we offer the Growing in Grace & Gratitude curriculum from PC(USA). Children learn a memory verse and study a theme for an entire month with a focus each week on a different Bible story. They also play games, do crafts, and other Small Group activities to focus on the theme.

  • Joy Kids

    Joy Kids is offered two semesters of the year in the fall and winter/spring.  The semesters are usually 4-5 weeks in length, and occur on Sunday nights at 4:00 pm.  Joy Kids emphasizes activities, field trips, fellowship and fun.

  • Vacation Bible School

    Each summer, VBS is offered for a week, featuring a Bible story, crafts, games, music, and fun!  This is a great way to learn about Jesus through stories in the Bible.

  • Children's Choir

    The children’s choir meets seasonally to prepare for the children’s Christmas pageant and for music that is offered in Sunday morning worship

  • Easter Egg Hunt

    This event is designed for parents and children, creatively presenting the message of Easter and of course, offering the HUNT!

  • Trunk or Treat

    This all church event invites families and members to decorate trunks and provide candy for the kids from the community who visit our campus on this day.  Additional activities are planned during this time as well.
